Middlesex Community College provides flexible and affordable options for students who are close to completing their degree or certificate. For students looking to start their education now, Middlesex will offer a second chance to start the Spring 2025 semester with the accelerated Mini-mester II starting on Monday, March 24.

This offering is a quick, high-reward way for students to earn their degree, certificate or industry credential, whether they鈥檙e at the beginning or close to the end of their academic journey.鈥�
The accelerated eight-week Mini-mester offers the same content, academic standards, and number of instructional hours as courses scheduled during the traditional 15-week semester. Students can earn transferable college credit while completing general education requirements.

Subjects taught as part of Mini-mester II include the arts and humanities, business, social science, and STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics). Classes may be offered on-campus, online, hybrid or hyflex.
No matter a student鈥檚 age or income, community college is now free in Massachusetts! The MassEducate and MassReconnect programs allow all Massachusetts residents who have not yet earned a bachelor鈥檚 degree to attend 麻豆果冻 for free. Students must complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) to find out their eligibility.
